Lake Char

Lake Char, also known as Lake Trout, Mackinaw Trout have roughly the same amount of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) as salmon. The flesh of lake char is firm, rich in flavor, and white to red, more often deep orange in color. It is oily and is often enjoyed broiled, baked, smoked, and BBQ'd. A healthy addition to any meal.! The benefits of having been wild-caught are having higher counts of natural omega-3 fatty acids.
